Chaparral will debut their latest premium Osx outboard bowrider at the Sydney Boat Show (1-4 August), on display with N.S.W dealer Blakes Marine.
The 250 Osx is the smallest in the premium deep V outboard range which extends up to the brand-new twin engine 300 Osx.
‘Chaparral have done a great job of the 250 Osx layout, with plenty of storage, a toilet locker, large walkaround swim platform, deep freeboard and big passenger capacity of 14’, Says Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia. ‘The 20-degree deadrise ensures good rough water handling, the 300HP engine capacity guarantees exhilarating performance and the whole package comes in at approximately 3000 KG on a trailer’.
Like all of the Chaparral range, construction, fit out and materials are top notch. There ‘no compromise’ approach means they still quad radial laminate, hand lay, kevlar reinforce and foam fill their hulls. The gelcoats, pure silicone upholstery, 316 grade stainless fittings and tinned wiring are all industry best – it costs a bit more, but the quality and reliability will look after you in the long term.
‘In a tough market buyers need to work out best value for money’, says O’Hare ‘Price is important, and, in that sense, we are always competitive, but buyers should take the time to really research what they are actually getting for their money – when they do, Chaparral always comes out on top’.
Chaparral celebrate their 60th anniversary this year and pride themselves on building ‘Salt Water Tough’ boats. With Florida as their testing ground and their biggest market, they have had 60 years of crafting boats to perform and endure in the harsh saltwater environment.
The Chaparral 250 Osx and other Chaparral models will be on display at the Sydney Boat Show on the Blakes Marine stand in Hall 2.
