Fastmount, a global leader in innovative mounting systems, has announced the celebration of its 20th anniversary. Over the past two decades, Fastmount has revolutionised the industry with its high-quality, reliable, and versatile panel mounting solutions, becoming the preferred choice for marine and fast growing in architectural and furniture sectors worldwide.
Founded in 2004, Fastmount began with a vision by Founding Director Gregg Kelly to create a new system to replace the hook and loop fastening that was often used when fitting out superyacht interiors. At the time, removable panels on yachts faced a number of challenges, so Gregg saw this as an opportunity to develop a purpose-built solution – and the Fastmount Panel Mounting System was born.
Throughout its history, Fastmount has committed to precision engineering and continuous innovation, so following the first ever products (the PC-M1B and the PC-F1A) was a comprehensive range that would cater to many different applications and industries.

Notable achievements by Fastmount include the development of the award-winning Stratlock Rail System, a modular framing system for building interior ceiling and wall framework onto uneven substrates, in order to precisely attach interior panelling with Fastmount’s Stratlock Range of hidden panel fasteners. The Stratlock® Rail System was released in 2021 and has since won an Australian Good Design Award, awarded an Iconic Award for Innovative Architecture by the German Design Council, and a Bronze Award at the Best Design Awards by the Designers Institute of New Zealand.
