What You Need to Know

  • Your existing accreditations remain valid. If you hold an AS e-learning certificate or a current accreditation, you will not lose it in this transition
  • Acknowledgement of prior learning and current accreditation with Australian Sailing will be applied, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. This may take time and may not be on your Australian Sailing profile immediately, refer to our FAQs.
  • Your Australian Sailing profile will be updated once the transition is complete.

To support this transition, they’ve created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section on their website. They recognise that there are always areas for improvement, so to provide feedback on their Learning Centre courses please provide your feedback here. They will review input at the end of July 2025 and implement further improvements in the next phase of work for the Instructor, Coach and Official Development Strategy.
