The Marina Industries Association (MIA) has announced its participation at the Singapore Yachting Festival and the Southeast Asian Yachting Conference being held at the Platinum 5 Gold Anchor One°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore 8-13 April 2025.

The SEA Yachting Conference will take place Tuesday and Wednesday 8 & 9 April and will feature insightful discussions on the latest trends, innovations and challenges shaping the regional industry. Conference Master of Ceremonies is MIA Certified Marina Professional Wicky Sundram who will bring his dynamic presence and industry expertise to guide thought provoking discussions.
The MIA will host a seminar and networking session at 3pm, Wednesday 9 April which will be a great opportunity for marina owners and operators, and suppliers to industry to receive an update on the activities and support initiatives of the MIA, provide regional updates and network with one another.
The Singapore Yachting Festival kicks off at 3pm Thursday 10 April running 3pm-9pm daily until Sunday 13 April. This year marks the return of the landside exhibition component, and the Exhibition Hall is set to be fully subscribed.
The MIA stand will have nine exhibitors who look forward to catching up with old friends and customers and meeting new ones. Located at L6, the MIA stand is close to the Exhibition Hall entry. Exhibiting marinas include Mulpha Marinas Sanctuary Cove (Gold Coast) and Hayman Island (North Queensland), and Horizon City Marina Kaohsiung (Taiwan).
The region’s leading marina builders will be represented, including Bellingham Marine, Marine Structures and Poralu Marine. Marine consultants Copley Marine Group will be represented as well as yard equipment supplier Butchart Marine Services and Roodberg Boat Handling. Freedom Boat Club will showcase the benefits of their global subscription boating model.
Demonstrating its further commitment to its southeast Asian members, the MIA will be holding an Intermediate Marina Management Course at the Phuket Boat Lagoon 18-22 May. The five-day residential course is a great commitment to furthering a career in the marina industry as it provides an overview of best management practices across marina operations. Course presenters are experienced industry professionals and will include Wicky Sundrum CMP, Scott Finsten CMM and Global Marina Institute Chairman Bruce Birtwistle CMP.
