Commit to Sustainability with the 2025 MSP

The MIA is reinforcing its commitment to environmental stewardship with the 2025 Marine Sustainability Pledge (MSP).

Building on the success of its 2019 initiative to reduce single-use plastics, the MSP addresses a broader spectrum of sustainability challenges.

Royal Phuket Marina, Shorlink, The Quays Marina, Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard, Gulf Marina Management, Dubai Harbour Marinas, Copley Marine Group and SORR have already committed to the pledge, with participation continuing to grow.

The MSP promotes reducing plastic waste, transitioning to renewable energy, conserving water, protecting marine habitats, and fostering community engagement. Signatories are also required to provide annual progress reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

MIA encourages all marine businesses to participate in this initiative.
