This Clean Up Australia Day, join OzFish in making a reel difference to the waterways and fish habitats we love.
On Sunday 2 March 2025, OzFish chapters across the country will be rolling up their sleeves and hitting the water to remove rubbish and restore some of our favourite fishing spots.
Whether you’re a keen angler, a dedicated environmentalist, or just someone who loves their local waterways, this is your chance to get involved in a meaningful community event. Protecting our fish habitats is what we do best, and we’d love you to join us in the effort!

Prizes on offer
For our OzFish chapters:
Most rubbish collected – $500 to go towards chapter expenses (judged by the number of filled OzFish sacks submitted by 5pm).
Highest number of registered participants at your event – $500 to go towards chapter expenses.
For individual participants:
The most thongs collected – win a $100 BCF voucher! (Just upload a photo of you and your haul of thongs to your chapter’s page by 5pm).
