Highfield ADV 7 in the spotlight at boot Düsseldorf 2025

Highfield Boats has impressed media and guests at the official launch of the highly-anticipated ADV 7, an innovative 7-metre crossover boat built for adventure.

The latest addition to the Highfield range is the ADV 7, which combines unparalleled seaworthiness and exceptional comfort, setting a new standard in the industry.

The ADV 7 is the result of a successful collaboration with renowned design and engineering studios, VOM Creations and Alpha Studio in Ljubljana. Naval architecture work was expertly undertaken by Andrej Justin.

This partnership has fused innovative design and engineering expertise to create a new iteration of a versatile RIB that stands out in both performance and aesthetics.

Every detail of the ADV 7 has been crafted to focus on improved functionality, performance, usability, comfort and quality, while retaining the distinctive Highfield rugged identity and famed sea-keeping ability. The hull is a deep-V design with a very fine entry and 22 degrees of transom deadrise.

It has been meticulously designed to comfortably seat up to eight people, making it perfect for both adventurous outings and family leisure time.

Among its array of innovative features are two large sundecks for enhanced comfort, providing ample space for relaxation and sunbathing. Its 2-metre internal beam offers plenty of room for family and friends and their gear for long days out on the water. The aft section is the ideal social space, perfect for socialising and dining at anchor. The optional marine toilet caters to all members of the family and ensures longer trips are more comfortable.

Commenting on the ADV7, Highfield Australia’s Peter Pembroke hailed the ADV7 as “a truly different and ground-breaking style of crossover product to introduce into the rigid inflatable and general runabout markets.

“It blends the benefits of both types of boating with the tubes offering a fender and disbursement of wash and focus on exceptional hull design means a very soft dry ride along with a 270 litre fuel tank to give you the range to explore.”

He continued, “Being designed and built using composites means we can integrate an extensive range of user-friendly features including aft and forward seating or sun pads, wrap-around cockpit seating with optional table and dinette for entertaining, and an optional toilet in the console. These features are enhancements based on feedback from current owners who are so passionate about the Highfield brand.”

The heavy-duty T-top provides excellent sun protection, especially when combined with the stern shade. It is robust yet stylish. Meanwhile safe water access is guaranteed thanks to the well-designed stern platforms making boarding and re-boarding effortless. The stern arch is ideal for water sports enthusiasts, adding to the boat’s versatility. The inflatable tubes serve multiple purposes by adding an extra layer of security and safety for your family, and acting as a fender during docking.

The new model also gives the impression of being much larger than its actual size. It offers incredible interior space and features for a boat of this size while remaining very easy to tow behind a family saloon car or SUV.

“This is the ideal moment for Highfield to introduce a bold new product,” commented Julien Carussi, co-founder and CEO of Highfield Boats.

“I’m thrilled with this first model in the ADV range, and I look forward to what is coming next. The launch of the ADV 7 marks a significant milestone in Highfield’s ambitious growth journey.”

Scheduled for launch in Australia at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 22 to 25 May on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the ADV7 will be one of the major model launches.

“The ADV7 is perfect for so many segments of the Australian and New Zealand boating markets, as the ideal vessel for family and friends to spend days out on the water or longer-range cruising and adventures,” added Pembroke.
