In yet another momentous occasion, leading Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Maritimo, will proudly showcase the North American launch of its flagship M75 Flybridge Motor Yacht and the all-new M55 Flybridge Motor Yacht – Black Edition.
These US new model launches follow successful debuts at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on Australia’s Gold Coast where current Maritimo clients and potential customers experienced the excitement first hand , fueling continued success for the builder.
Perfection Achieved
Not only do these new models meet current market demands head-on, collectively they represent the builder’s near constant and deliberate pursuit of perfection. In fact, the M75 alone represents nearly 120,000 hours of research and development. Construction also takes place in a newly developed area of the factory dedicated to this project.
Both the M75 (to be shown at the Ft. Lauderdale International Show) and the sporty S75 epitomise the company’s dedication to designing and building offshore capable, long-distance cruising yachts with an elevated sense of style and next-level luxury.
“The size and volume of the M75 will obviously impress,” says Keith Teynor, Managing Director for Maritimo Americas. “However it’s the thought and fit and finish that are setting the M75 apart from the market.”
Proven Achiever
The M75s hull represents the latest evolution of Maritimo’s deep 20-year experience employing a proven variable deadrise hull with deep keel, sharp bow entry, and flattened progression aft that delivers offshore cruising efficiency and range, cruising comfort, and stability. The hull design and engineering are centered on proven and reliable straight shaft drive technology with several engine packages available.
Of course the defining feature of any Maritimo M-series is the enclosed flybridge. And of course, the M75 will not disappoint.
The climate-controlled flybridge skylounge maximises interior space by incorporating exterior wings seamlessly into the sleek contours of the flybridge. Inside, the skylounge features two distinct areas: a forward cruising lounge and an aft TV lounge, which can easily convert to additional sleeping berths if needed.
The M75 flybridge can be further customised with an optional flybridge head, glass partition, and door at the top of the internal stairs. The partition not only enhances safety by gating the stairwell but also improves sound insulation. Privacy blinds are available, enabling the flybridge to serve as additional accommodation when required.
The M75 will be ready to take her new owner on adventures following the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show.
Better in Black
Also during the show, the company will debut its Black Edition for the new models shown at the show. This new edition represents a bold evolution in luxury and sophistication and elevates Maritimo’s already exceptional yachts with exclusive design elements, premium materials, and refined finishes that emphasise elegance and sophistication.
Simon Stewart, Maritimo Marketing Manager, describes the Black Edition models as “a significant change that embraces owner feedback and raises the bar in terms of design and on-board experience”.
“It is the natural evolution of Maritimo’s top selling models of the 50, 55 and 60, and taking the learnings from customers, including learnings from the flagships of the Maritimo fleet – the S75 and M75 – to create a repertoire of elements and styling that distinguish these models and set them further apart from contenders in their class.”
The new Black Edition updates include enhancements such as a redesigned, larger transom island and upgraded lounge and expanded BBQ area. The new layout now includes a convenient lazarette access door alongside a built-in fridge and redesigned BBQ and sink.
The class-leading upper cockpit area has even more space than before and this area can now be configured in several ways, including with a fixed table running across the deck, and the optional additional L-shaped seating with storage underneath, as well as a convenient wet bar.
The doors connecting the adjacent galley can either be slide or bifold, depending on the exterior seating arrangement. The fully equipped galley offers several enhancements, including more bench space on the starboard side without losing space for the hot plates, oven, and necessary storage. Combined with the upright existing fridge/freezer location is space for a new large overhead cupboard above the counter.
Within the enclosed flybridge, the Black Edition helm brings the enhanced styling and layout of the flagship M75 into the new models. Forward, a new larger optional sun pad with adjustable backrests, dual drink holders, and handrails combine with an additional forward-facing bow lounge to level-up these new models.
The US Launch of the M75 and Black Edition will take place at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show October 30-November 3rd, 2024.
