Sanlorenzo Asia Expands to Become Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific, Strengthening Presence in Australia and New Zealand

Sanlorenzo Asia, a division of Simpson Marine, is delighted to announce its transformation into Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific (Sanlorenzo APAC) effective immediately. This strategic move reflects the company’s commitment to serving the growing demand for yachts and related services in the Asia-Pacific region and follows Simpson Marine’s regional expansion under the ownership of Sanlorenzo SpA, taking place in early March 2024.

With the opening of the new sales office in Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney, Australia, the company is poised to elevate the yachting experience for discerning clients across this dynamic and mature market for luxury yachts and superyachts.

Richard Allen,Chief Operating Officer of Simpson Marine Group, expressed his enthusiasm: “Australia represents a significant opportunity for Sanlorenzo. Its stunning coastline, vibrant yachting community, and steadily increasing number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) make it an ideal hub for the brand with several Sanlorenzo yachts already based in the country.

As recently presented by the Superyachttimes.com during the first Asia-Pacific’s Superyacht Forum held in early June in Hong Kong, in 2024 there are 423 superyachts above 30-metres owned in Asia-Pacific region with 34% of them located in Australia and 5% in New Zealand. This is significantly more than the second largest market represented by Hong Kong at 22%.

With our expanded presence and a wide range of yachts through Sanlorenzo (24m-80m+) and sister brand Bluegame (13m-24m), we’re well-positioned to meet their needs.
