Bering Yachts has launched a Bering 80, a splendid under-24-metre yacht
Bering Yachts is making history by launching three boats within days of one another. At the end of May, the first spacious under-24-meter explorer B80 was set afloat and christened at their Antalya shipyard. With a 23.85 load line length, this elegant four-decker has an 8.10-metre beam, which makes her dimensions similar to those of her siblings in the B88 project.
B80’s interiors are modern and classical in design. Light colors and natural materials, including wood and marble, make the internal space impressive and bigger. This relaxing and spacious design truly represents the owner’s request for a boat that would serve as a great location to host, accommodate, and entertain visitors with great hospitality and comfort.
10 guests and 5 crew have plenty of living, working, and relaxation space in part thanks to the voluminous lower deck, which features four spacious guest cabins, a crew mess, an engine room, and a lazaret. Always paying significant attention to the comfort of the crew members, Bering Yachts has built the crew mess and cabins using the same materials as guest accommodations. An engine room produces plenty of power to propel the B80 to 10.5 knots of maximum speed with 8.5 knots at cruise.
Light colors and modern marine layouts continue throughout the boat’s exterior. The main deck features a master stateroom with a walk-in wardrobe, a main galley, a comfortable saloon, and a cockpit with a table for 10 guests. A large lift-up and rotation TV system is located outside, blending smoothly with the spacious cockpit.
The chillout zone with a sunbed at the upper deck’s bow is adjacent to the captain’s quarters and a pilot house. The skylounge features a gym, hammam, and lounge area. The boat deck aft with the deckchairs can also be used as a tender storage area.
The flybridge, with a captain’s chair, a large table, two settees with a wet bar, a grill, and an outside lift-up and rotation TV system with plenty of sunbeds, adds to this deck’s relaxing ambiance.
Says Alexei Mikhailov, the founder of Bering Yachts, “The B88 series, of which this B80 is a slight modification apart, is becoming one of our most popular models. In addition to the one launched today, we are building three more boats of this line. Speaking of the size, it is perfect for a yacht – a bit under 24 meters, but with all the space and luxury that can usually be found in much bigger vessels. With a range of over 5,000 nautical miles and 220 tons of displacement, B80 is just as capable as pretty.”
Two more boats will be set afloat in the first week of June.
