Marinas24 International Conference and Trade Exhibition (Marinas24) opened today to a record attendance of 390 delegates from 14 countries at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
Up to 40 marina industry Certified Professionals, from five countries will gather today to share experiences and provide an update on their home markets. Andrew Chapman, President of the MIA commented, “These are the industry’s most senior and experienced professionals. It is an important forum for them as they share and learn from each other. We are fortunate that we have a very collegiate industry that is open to discussing issues and sharing good ideas”.
The group will also dedicate some time to their professional development. Dale Carnegie Australia has been engaged to present a Mastering Everyday Presentations Seminar that will further enhance the group’s communication prowess in everyday work scenarios. We would also like to thank to Cimolai for sponsoring the Certified Member Lunch.
Many of the delegates arrived in Brisbane yesterday to attend the Welcome Reception which was held on the RICC forecourt, surrounded by some impressive displays from the industry’s key suppliers including Bellingham Marine, Superior Jetties, The Jetty Specialists, Cimolai and Repco. As usual, many have taken the opportunity to visit the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show which again opened to huge crowds last Thursday. There are also a number of exhibitors who will bumped out of Sanctuary Cove to set up their exhibits at the RICC.
