With just five weeks until Marinas24 opens its doors, anticipation is building for what promises to be our biggest conference and trade exhibition to date.
The conference program is designed to address a broad spectrum of industry issues, delving into specific operational matters, exploring emerging opportunities, and showcasing the innovations shaping the future of marine operations. 24 conference sessions, delivered through keynote presentations, workshops, and discussion panels will inspire ideas, thought and debate.
The Lessons and Learning Panel brings together industry experts who will discuss their own experiences (good & bad), including cyber security incidents, positive environmental initiatives, and weathering storms.
Karen Baldwin will explain the learnings from a cyber breach at RQYS, Martin Silk will share the environmental initiatives he has implemented across the d’Albora sites that has resulted in significant operational savings, and Andrew Rokstad of Ports North will rely his experiences on the recent storms and cyclones that batter North Queensland.
Chaired by Jayson McDonald (RMYC BB), this session will highlight the importance of information sharing between colleagues within our industry. From new ideas that could save you money, problems you never knew existed, to how would you react if a serious incident occurred?
Marinas24 will take place 27 & 28 May 2024 at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) in Brisbane, Queensland, and will bring together around 350 marina owners, operators, and suppliers for two inspiring days of conferencing and exhibition where over 50 exhibitors will showcase their marina related products and services followed by a Study Tour on the 29th of May.
Marinas24 is not to be missed, it only happens every second year!
