Empire Marinas Group has announced the appointment of David Randall CMM as CEO.
David Randall CMM
David has extensive experience in the marina and marina Industries with a career spanning the New Zealand Navy, hospitality, yacht charter, yacht club facilities management and marina management. Most recently David has been General Manager of Empire Marina Lake Macquarie and part of the executive management team of Empire Marinas Group. David’s new role will encompass responsibility for Empire Marinas’ Lake Macquarie and Bobbin Head marinas including the Waterside Bistro and 3 Freedom Boat Clubs.
Empire Marinas Group is owned by interests associated with the Vaux & Richardson Families and this year celebrates its 20th year. Group Chairman Darren Vaux said “Since Joining Empire Marinas almost three years ago, David has demonstrated his capacity and drive to deliver outstanding outcomes in the management of our facilities and the delivery of customer service. Empire Marinas has big plans for the future with a major expansion and redevelopment of Empire Marina Lake Macquarie scheduled to commence in 2025 and a range of industry leading climate change resilience and environmental initiatives proposed for Empire Marina Bobbin Head. There are also plans to expand Empire’s Freedom Boat Club interests with two new clubs to be opened on the Central Coast and Port Stephens in 2025.
