Raymarine Announces Three-Year Partnership with Hallberg-Rassy

Raymarine has announce a three-year exclusive supplier agreement with legendary Swedish cruising yacht builder Hallberg-Rassy.

Known and admired by sailors the world over for its beautifully designed and solidly constructed bluewater cruising yachts, Hallberg-Rassy is one of the world’s leading brands in this exacting sector.

Magnus Rassy, CEO and Owner said: “Hallberg-Rassy is happy to work with Raymarine and to extend our exclusive supply agreement. Raymarine has a top end range of marine electronic equipment, a strong worldwide service network, and has been good in keeping to delivery dates with us, regardless of recent worldwide supply chain pressures. This is a critical factor for us, as Hallberg-Rassy both aims to and has delivered every single yacht on time, even during the pandemic.”

The Raymarine equipment that will feature on Hallberg-Rassy yachts will centre around the new Axiom 2 Pro HybridTouch chartplotters launched earlier this year, or the recently announced Axiom 2 XL premium glass bridge chartplotters with advanced networking and video integration capabilities. Because Axiom 2 Pro combines chartplotter, sonar, radar, autopilot, and video into a powerful all-in-one navigation system, Hallberg-Rassy owners will be able to enjoy peerless situational awareness- thanks to the super intuitive Raymarine LightHouse operating system.

The custom interface of Axiom 2 Pro delivers key navigation information quickly and accurately ensuring skippers are not overwhelmed with data at critical points in a passage. This is a key attribute for bluewater sailors entering unfamiliar waters after a long voyage.

Evolution pilot, Quantum radar, RAY90 VHF, AIS700, and i70s instruments are all included to deliver an industry leading, integrated navigational system.

Andy King, VP Sales EMEA & APAC at Raymarine said: “We are so pleased to announce this continuation of Raymarine’s long and successful relationship with Hallberg-Rassy. The owners of Hallberg-Rassy yachts are known for their impressive long range cruising journeys, often in demanding environments, and we love to see Raymarine equipment being used to its full potential.”
