Marine Rescue NSW Commissioner Alex Barrell has announced the appointment of Darren Schott as the next Deputy Commissioner, Operations & Capability.
Darren brings a wealth of experience with over 35 years in emergency services. Over the last 18 months, as Marine Rescue NSW Zone Commander Central, Darren has forged strong relationships across our organisation, stakeholders and partners. He also has an extensive volunteering background at both operational and leadership levels.
Darren has a strong vision for Marine Rescue NSW and is extremely passionate about supporting volunteers and staff as we continue to grow our organisation.
