A note from the Beattie family re their recently departed and much-loved son and brother Jack Beattie.
To all his mates in the marine industry and other friends of the family around the Tweed and Gold Coasts, we are having an outdoor memorial service for him at a spot he loved called Fingal Head near Kingscliff. It will kick off on Sunday, April 16 from 4.00pm and involves a short walk from the Lighthouse Parade carpark to the lighthouse where we will pay tribute to Jack on sunset.
Following a short service we will head to the Kingscliff Beach Hotel for drinks from around 6pm.
Please note the main memorial service will take place in Melbourne in the week or two after the Fingal Head service with a date and location to be announced.
