Brisbane Marine is the one-stop shop for Mercury products, boats, trailers, marine parts, and electronics. They continue their track record of success having previously won the Mercury Marine Dealer of the Year Award in 2020 and 2021.

Mercury Marine’s Director of Sales David Meehan said Brisbane Marine’s three-peat was “a massive achievement”.

“It’s one thing to be successful, but it’s another to keep delivering at such a high standard,” David said.

“They were able to again achieve consistent growth across all product categories, ranking as the best in their region which is a real testament of the dedication they show towards the Mercury brand.

“It is always a challenge to grow year on year when you’re a larger sized dealer; however, they were able to outdo themselves and succeed again which is a phenomenal effort.

“To also be named the Motorguide Dealer of the Year shows their commitment to Mercury products and why they are the dealer of choice for so many boating enthusiasts throughout Southern Queensland.”

The team from Brisbane Marine and all the other winners were recognised at the 2022 Mercury Marine Awards held at SeaWorld on the Gold Coast, where dealers were also able to get to grips with a host of new products.

“We brought along the new 350 and 400hp V10 engines, the fantastic Avator electric motor, the newly launched Electric Steering, 25-30hp engines and the industry leading V12 600hp Verado,” said Brad Zoelle, Mercury Marine’s Australia, NZ and Pacific Islands General Manager.

“It was great to get together and celebrate the accomplishments of so many fantastic dealers while also looking at the amazing line-up of products we have coming down the line.”

It was another big year for Queensland dealers, with Sugar City Marine in Mackay taking out the 2022 Regional Dealer of the Year award.

The New Zealand Dealer of the Year Award for 2022 was taken out by Bay’s Boating from Motueka on NZ’s south island.

Mercury’s annual awards are based on a range of objective criteria including year-on-year growth across all product categories (Outboard, MerCruiser, Parts & Accessories), business diversity, service status and market share growth within their dealer district.
