Every four hours a Zodiac is sold. Represented by 1,600 dealers worldwide and with over 1 million boats sold, the French company enjoyed growth of 194 percent between 2015 and 2020, with more to come over the next five years.
“The key to sustained growth is constant innovation and having the best hull on the market,” explains Fanny Revert, Head of Marketing at Zodiac Nautic.
“Zodiac RIBS boast a unique V-shaped hull with reinforced GRP for stability and security, ensuring maximum resistance even in heavy conditions.
“Zodiac uses Hypalon tubes that are durable and UV resistant, with multiple air chambers, easy to inflate and deflate for storage, with our patented removable tube system.”
With 38 boats over three model lines, plus the new eOPEN 100 percent electric models, Zodiac tests each and every boat to guarantee a quality and performance.
Through Club Zodiac, owners have access to a five-year warranty on the hull, tubes and accessories, as well as an international support and service network.
The Pro range is fully customisable and can be equipped for whatever professional activity or your program required: sailing clubs, professional or amateur anglers, scuba or free divers, watersports or support vessel.
The Open range is described as “the multi-activity range” and is available in eight different versions from 3.1 to 6.5-metres for up to 15 people, with deck layouts to suit island hopping, fishing, watersports and more.
Specially designed for cruising, the Medline range is Zodiac’s best seller, ideal for a day on the water with family and friends, with their versatile spaces, table seating and wide benches. There are five Medline models from 5 to 9-metres to suit cruising or towed watersports such as skiing, wakeboarding and inflatables.
“Investment in R&D is our priority, given that innovation is the heart of the strategy of the company,” says Fanny.
“In 2023, we plan to spend €1.5 million on R&D, new products and improving our global offer.
“We’re working on several innovations, we’ve a strong product planning with a five-year vision, and at the moment we’re working on a secret project which will be revealed soon.”
The Zodiac RIB range is available through Sirocco Marine Sydney, Queensland, Melbourne and Perth showrooms, and will be on display at the 2023 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 25 to 28 May, followed by the 2023 Sydney International Boat Show 3 to 6 August.
