Sailing Summits replace Club Conferences in 2023

The 2023 Sailing Summit dates are now set and registrations are open for Club and Class Association committee members to attend.

After a review of the successful Australian Sailing Club Conferences in 2022 it was made loud and clear that there is a big opportunity to grow the impact of the conferences by inviting class associations and expanding the invitation for more club decision makers to attend.

Ben Callard, Australian Sailing National General Manager – Club Support, describes “one of the major opportunities that the Sailing Summit presents is that of networking amongst the sailing community. By having exclusively club representatives we were limiting these opportunities.”

The 2023 Sailing Summits will provide a great opportunity for clubs and classes to share information and ideas, allow Australian Sailing to hear directly from the community via workshops following on from the Club Survey and to receive an update on hot topics and the Australian Sailing strategic priorities.

“I strongly encourage all clubs and classes to have a representative attend your local Sailing Summit,” said Callard.

“It is an opportunity not to be missed and one of the key opportunities available to clubs and classes to be face-to-face with Australian Sailing senior management and Board Members”.

The 2023 Sailing Summit dates and locations are:
