The VFA have announced this February’s two-day celebration of all things fishing
The Ultimate Fishing Expo
Sat 18 – Sun 19 February, 2023
Melbourne Conference & Exhibition Centre
Thousands of visitors are expected each day of the expo. Pricing is at a never-to-be-repeated low rate of just $50 per sqm, to exhibit in a specified BIAV area for fishing boats and accessories.
The government are behind this major event and will be heavily promoting to the boating/fishing public. All displaying businesses will be promoted on the VFA website and social channels (approx. 86k Facebook, 140K database and 22K Instagram).
Join the world’s best and most passionate recreational fishing experts and a burgeoning group of fishing/boating enthusiasts ‘Down Under’ in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for this unique expo.
The expo is the public event leading up to the World Rec Fishing Conference, February 20-22, also at the Melbourne Conference & Exhibition Centre.

Recreational Boaters Survey – Boats & Whales
If you go boating along the Victorian coast, the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), in conjunction with researchers at Monash University and the Arthur Rylah Institute want to hear from you to better understand how boaters interact with whales in our waters. Australian Manufacturing Week
Registrations are now open for Australian Manufacturing Week (AMW2023), held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) from 9-12 May 2023.
Run by the Australian Manufacturing Technology Institute Limited (AMTIL), AMW2023 will occupy more than 10,000 square metres of exhibition space at the MCEC, with more than 270 organisations taking stands to showcase the latest manufacturing technologies, processes, and support services.
