Entries for Nautilus Marine Insurance Marina of the Year Awards open

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) is calling for entries to the 2023 Nautilus Marine Insurance Marina of the Year Awards (MOTYA).

The MIA advise that the entry form should be completed by 10 February with the actual submission not required until 15 March.

The awards recognise industry excellence and offer ongoing promotional opportunities for years to come.

Previous award winners have stated that staff and existing customers take enormous pride in the win. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for a marina to engage and motivate its team around the continued review and improvement of facilities.

The MIA’s December edition of Waterline included an article on how Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay leveraged its success as 2021 Club of the Year by sharing it with customers, staff and wider community. See the full story on page nine of Waterline.

Award categories include;

  • Commercial Marina of the Year (up to 140 boats)
  • Commercial Marina of the Year (over 140 boats)
  • Club of the Year
  • International Marina of the Year
  • Boatyard of the Year (up to 20 boats)
  • Boatyard of the Year (over 20 boats)
  • Dry Stack Storage Facility of the Year

The winners will be announced at the awards dinner at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia on 16 May, 2023.
