Suzuki Marine is now open for business 24 hours a day, following the launch of an all-new virtual showroom on its website which includes a ground-breaking ‘pricing widget’.
The widget, or pricing calculator, is the first for an outboard distributor in Australia. It not only adds a layer of transparency with Suzuki Marine pricing but also provides the basis for a seamless transaction to purchase a new Suzuki Outboard Motor (OBM) on www.suzukimarine.com.au – and well as offering a new ‘Sail Away’ price on the 2.5 to 30hp tiller-handle OBMs.
The widget is activated after customers select the ‘Pricing & Options’ tab under any OBM listed on the Suzuki website. At that juncture, the manufacturer’s suggested retail price is clearly displayed, which begins a simple step-by-step process for customers to select the spec level of their OBM, which will include choices in the Suzuki control kit and gauges range.
When the configuration process is complete, a summary page will clearly outline an instant quote for the new Suzuki OBM. Customers can then request a callback from their nearest dealer if, for example, they may require additional information about finance, insurance and/or trade-in options. No transaction has yet taken place.
Moreover, customers looking to purchase an OBM from the 2.5 to 30hp family will also be able to pay a $1000 holding deposit to reserve their outboard, available for a ‘Sail Away’ price which also includes all pre-delivery charges. Their nominated dealer will then be in touch to complete the required paperwork before collecting the new motor is collected in-store.
Of course, 2-5-30hp customers can also take the ‘callback’ route if they are still undecided or require additional information.
