Trinity Point Marina get approval for expansion

Ideally located only a short journey north of Sydney, Trinity Point Marina have had their second stage development approved. This will increase the marina that currently has 94 berths to 188 berths.

The marina expansion is only part of a greater plan with the location set to include a five-star hotel with 218 hotel rooms, 180 residential apartments, a 300-seat function centre, two restaurants, a pool and day spa.

The site is running and functional with infrastructure, either permanent or temporary, already on site. In fact the restaurant ‘8 at Trinity’ has grown so much in popularity that it is not uncommon for Sydneysiders to make the journey to enjoy the modern Australian dining experience.

Owner operators, the Johnson Property Group, believe that the marina expansion will encourage tourism to the area, as well as those local and travelling boaters seeking fuel, a pump out station. A helipad is on site for those wishing to arrive by air.

It is expected that the marina expansion side of the development will be completed mid to late next year.

Johnson Property Group managing director, Keith Johnson said “We’re very fortunate that we’re in this position today. We decided we wanted something unique, a statement, something iconic – to do it right.

“We’ve created a community, it’s about creating a destination and creating a community that everybody’s proud of, so to see that in people’s eyes and hear the feedback is great.”

Opportunities continue to grow with the latest service commencing only days ago with a seaplane service from Rose Bay to Trinity Point, operated by Sydney Seaplanes.
