2022 SheSails National Conference event set to steer the course
Australian Sailing is excited to release the date of its 2022 SheSails National Conference event which once more will coincide with World Sailing’s global women’s sailing festival, Steering the Course 2022.
The 2022 SheSails National Conference event is set to be delivered via webinar 6pm (AEDT) Wednesday 5th October, and will be designed to champion female involvement in sailing and empower attendees to reach their full potential.
Last year’s inaugural SheSails National Leadership Conference was a great success, with the largest SheSails gathering to date (albeit virtually) seeing over 200 participants dialing in from sailing clubs across Australia.
This year’s 1.5 hour webinar event is set to be even bigger and better with Yachting New Zealand joining the party, which means attendees can look forward to hearing success stories and insights from across both Australian and New Zealand clubs!
Australian Sailing are excited to have New Zealand join the event and are delighted to confirm the below special guest speakers that will provide insights on breaking down barriers:
SheSails Ambassador, sailor and pioneer Jessica Watson OAM. Jessica will discuss her experiences; how she had a dream, worked hard at it, and proved that anything really is possible.
Olympian and Trailblazer Nina Curtis. Nina will discuss her journey that has taken her to the Olympics and onto being the first female on the Australian SailGP team.
Mark the date in your diary now; Wednesday 5th October and refer to the below for what time it will be starting in your state:
