New Zealand SailGP Team Co-CEO Peter Burling adds, “It’s awesome to welcome Zhik to the New Zealand SailGP Team. We know and trust Zhik’s high performance products, and it’s been amazing to be part of their ongoing development. Their move towards launching more sustainable products, which we were testing for Tokyo 2020, aligns perfectly with the team’s goals.”
Zhik’s Sponsorship Manager, Johnny Rodgers comments, “The New Zealand SailGP Team has demonstrated its commitment to the environment by being crowned SailGP Season 2 Impact League champions, sport’s first podium for purpose. We are on a journey with Zhik’s sustainability plan to create more environmentally friendly garments for a better future for our oceans and planet. It’s a continuous learning process and we look forward to sharing knowledge with the New Zealand SailGP Team as part of this partnership.”
