Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard have appointed Brad Smith to the new role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at GCCM.
Brad has deep practical and hands-on experience in business strategy, leadership, human resources, sales/business development, operations/operational systems, building services, facility maintenance and marketing and will bring to us a very different lens as we continue to prepare our business for future expansion with our Stage 2 development. More recently Brad has been managing various operational and business development teams, at times leading teams of up to 1000 employees along with numerous external contractors for global insurance companies and third-party claims administrators.
Brad’s skill set and experience demonstrate that he is an extremely versatile and entrepreneurial leader who is passionate about developing customer centric strategies and solutions to deliver best-in-class service. Importantly, he’s also a passionate boatie who has owned a variety of different sized vessels over the years.
