Yamaha motor to donate humanitarian aid to Ukraine and its surrounding regions
Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announced its decision to donate USD$700,000 dollars toward humanitarian aid for Ukraine and its surrounding regions. This donation will be made through Japan Platform, a non-profit organisation, and the funds will be used explicitly for delivering humanitarian aid to those in need.
Yamaha Motor expresses its deepest sympathies to all the victims affected by this crisis and hopes for a return to peace as quickly as possible.
Suzuki Motor Corporation provides support for Ukraine
As humanitarian support for those affected by the events taking place in Ukraine, Suzuki Motor Corporation has decided to donate a total of 1 million Euros from Suzuki and the Suzuki Group companies in Europe to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The donation can help ensure that those forced to flee their homes are sheltered and safe. A representative of Suzuki said “We wish that the situation will be brought to an end as soon as possible and that there will be peace for all”
