Last week, the Victorian Recreational Boating Strategy was launched at the Altona Boat Ramp. Minister Melissa Horne and the Better Boating Victoria CEO Katherine Grech joined BIA Victoria for the occasion
BIAV President David Meehan, CEO Steve Walker, as well as Bar Crusher’s Peter Cleland, who is also a member of the Minister’s round-table advisory group, were also there for the launch.
The strategy contains a great deal of long term BIA Victoria wish-list material and is the result of considerable BBV consultation and effort. BIA Victoria has congratulated the Minister and BBV on the strategy and looks forward to the next steps in terms of delivering upon it. The strategy complements the establishment of BBV and the Better Boating Fund, and sets things up for a great deal of better boating for Victorians.
