The Australia New Zealand Safe Boating Education Group (ANZSBEG) in partnership with the BIA has launched a new website, dedicated to providing boaters with a single source of reliable information regarding inflatable lifejackets.
The website offers access to a number of resources and tools that are designed to improve safety out on the water.
These include a lifejacket selector tool, educational videos on conducting pre-wear checks and inspections, a retailer and service centre store locator, as well as the ability to register to receive service tips and reminders via email.
Industry retailers now have a tool they can use to help their customers remember when service of their jackets is due.
